Our mission

Norby was founded in 2021 after its founders helped build and launch a viral community during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our mission is to empower creators, communities, and small businesses to build meaningful, lasting relationships with their audiences.

We believe creative entrepreneurs should own the relationship with their audience, and that extricating that relationship from social media platforms creates better incentive structures and a more sustainable model for the future of work.

Norby is a platform for people and relationships – not the attention economy. A platform where anyone – no matter how many followers they have – can build a community around their passion, and if they choose, turn it into a business. Our customers are an incredibly diverse group – they range from activists to solopreneurs to brands to famous influencers with millions of followers.
